Understudy, Tambo & Bones by Dave Harris

I got to understudy in the ensemble for the Chicago premiere of Dave Harris’ exciting play Tambo and Bones which runs through November 11. It’s a wild, funny ride, and a very thoughtful exploration of the search for meaning and selfhood within a capitalist and white supremacist environment. I was very glad to get to tag along, and even go on a couple times.
I’m having trouble uploading photos of the roles I understudied, but there were two defunct killer robots to be used in the race war that had been repurposed as visual aids for storytelling, which is right in my niche as an actor.
